Dasoku Fucaco is a consultancy that works at the intersection of practical farming and resource efficiency. We help producers find value in what they currently discard.
Built from field observations, not textbooks
The concept behind Dasoku Fucaco came from working directly with agricultural producers who were already doing circular things, composting, reusing irrigation water, exchanging straw for manure, without ever calling it circular economy. They had the practice. What they lacked was a structured way to identify further opportunities, document what they were doing, and communicate it to markets that were starting to ask questions.
We built a consultancy around that gap. Not a research institute. Not a certification body. A practical service that helps real operations with real constraints find real opportunities.
Our work is grounded in Kujawsko-Pomorskie region but extends to agricultural producers and rural businesses across Poland. The challenges of a small grain farm in Bydgoszcz and a market garden near Poznań are different in detail but similar in structure. Both have material flows that could be more circular. Both have communication challenges around environmental practices.
Four principles that guide everything we do
Honesty over optimism
We tell you what is genuinely possible in your situation. If a circular solution does not make economic sense for your scale, we say so. Overpromising helps no one.
Agricultural grounding
Our work starts with understanding how your operation actually functions, not how a textbook says it should. Recommendations that ignore operational realities do not get implemented.
Documentation first
Circular economy claims need to be backed by records. We help you build the documentation habits that make your environmental communication credible and defensible.
Local connections
The most efficient circular loops are short ones. We actively look for opportunities to connect nearby producers so resources travel less and benefit more people.
We work with operations, not against their constraints.
Small agricultural producers operate under real financial and logistical constraints. A circular economy recommendation that requires significant capital investment or complex logistics is not a useful recommendation for most of our clients.
We design our engagements to work within what is realistic. Sometimes the most valuable thing we do is help a producer see that what they already do has circular economy value, and give them the language to describe it accurately.
Other times the work is more intensive: mapping all material flows, identifying where value is being lost, designing new systems for reuse or exchange, and connecting producers with others who can use what they currently discard.
